— Provide accurate and complete information during registration and when submitting documents.

— Not use the service for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that violates these Terms.

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who we believe is misusing the Platform or providing false information.

4 User Responsibilities

As a user of this Platform, you are responsible for:

Accuracy of Information: Ensuring that all medical reports, test results, imaging files, and personal details you upload are accurate, complete, and belong to the patient in question. Submitting false or misleading information may result in an inaccurate opinion and will void any liability on our part.

Document Quality: Uploading legible, high-quality documents. We cannot be held responsible for opinions that may be limited by poor document quality.

Account Security: Keeping your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that takes place under your account.

Appropriate Use: Not using the Platform to harass, defraud, or harm any individual, and not attempting to reverse-engineer, copy, or disrupt any part of our service.

5 Medical Disclaimer

All expert opinions delivered through our Platform are based solely on the documents and information you provide. Our specialists do not conduct physical examinations and are not establishing a doctor-patient relationship with you.

You should always consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional in person before making any decisions about your health, starting or stopping any treatment, or undergoing any medical procedure.

We strongly advise you to share the second opinion you receive with your treating physician, who holds full responsibility for your medical care.

6 Payment & Refund Policy

We offer three service plans, each with a one-time fee:

All payments are processed securely at the time of submission. Prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and are inclusive of all applicable charges unless stated otherwise.

Refund Policy: Due to the nature of our expert consultation service, refunds are not available once a specialist has been assigned to your case and work has commenced. However, if we are unable to deliver your opinion within the agreed timeframe through no fault of yours, or if your case is outside the scope of our service, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.

7 Confidentiality & Data Protection

We take the privacy and security of your medical data extremely seriously. All information you share with us is treated as strictly confidential.

GDPR Compliance: If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data.

How We Use Your Data: Your data is used solely for the purpose of delivering the second opinion you requested. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal or medical information with any third party, except with the specialist assigned to your case, or as required by applicable law.

Data Storage: Your files are stored on encrypted, secure servers. Medical documents are retained for a period of 12 months after your case is closed, after which they are permanently deleted, unless you request earlier deletion.

Consent: By submitting your information, you provide explicit consent to process your sensitive health data for the sole purpose of providing you with a medical second opinion.

8 Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including but not limited to our website design, logo, text, graphics, software, and service methodology — is the exclusive intellectual property of Get Second Opinion Global and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

The written expert opinions delivered to you are for your personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercialize any part of the reports you receive without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any medical documents you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to use them solely for the purpose of providing your second opinion.

9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Get Second Opinion Global, its directors, employees, affiliates, and partner specialists shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

— Your use of or inability to use the Platform or our services.

— Any medical decisions made based on the opinions provided through our Platform.

— Errors or omissions in the expert opinions resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by you.

— Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein.

Our total liability to you in connection with the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific consultation in question.

10 Third-Party Specialists

The medical opinions on our Platform are provided by independent, board-certified specialist physicians. These specialists are not employees of Get Second Opinion Global — they operate as independent professionals contracted to deliver expert opinions.

While we carefully vet all specialists for credentials, qualifications, and experience, we do not control or direct their professional judgement. The opinions they provide are their own independent assessments based on the materials shared.

We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any advice given by third-party specialists, beyond our duty to connect you with appropriately qualified professionals.

11 Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify registered users by email.

12 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

Where applicable to users in the United Kingdom or European Union, mandatory consumer protection rights under UK or EU law shall not be excluded or limited by these Terms.
